This page is for the Station Closed apps for iPhone and Android and the Flex Weather Tracker website at stationclosed.com, which share one account. You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted here, without the app.
Delete it on the web
- Press the button below. If you are not signed in, sign in with a code sent to your email address or phone (there is no password); that code is how we know the account is yours.
- On the account page, under "Delete this account", press "Delete my account" and confirm.
Delete it in the app
In the iPhone or Android app, open Account and choose Delete account.
What happens
- At once, the account is switched off: every app and browser is signed out, and its notification subscriptions and tokens are deleted.
- 30 days later it is deleted with everything in it: the email address and phone number you sign in with, the Google or Apple sign-in, passkeys and authenticator, your watched stations, Main Station and alert settings, places for lightning alerts, devices, purchase records, the Scan and Go tracker log, support tickets and the feedback you sent from the apps. An email to the account's address tells you the date. Signing in again before then keeps the account as it was.
What is kept
- Tax records of payments taxed by this site (PayPal and crypto payments: the account's id, the plan, the country, the amounts and the tax, with no name or address), for as long as tax law requires, up to ten years.
- The stores and payment companies keep their own records of your purchases under their own policies.
- Crash reports and usage statistics sent from the apps to Google Firebase are not linked to your account; Google keeps them under Firebase's own data retention terms.
Subscriptions
Deleting the account does not cancel a plan bought in an app store. Cancel it in the App Store, Google Play or the Galaxy Store, or it keeps renewing. A renewing plan bought on this website is cancelled with its payment processor when you delete the account.
Can't sign in?
Write to support@stationclosed.com from the email address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. To check that the account is yours, we will email that address to confirm before anything is deleted.
